The Baha'i Faith

I am a Baha'i since I was born. So, I wanted to share a bit about the faith.

The Baha'i faith began over 164 years ago. It is still new to the current world.
The unity of the human race is the central teaching of Baha'u'llah (meaning the 'Glory of God'), prophet & founder of the Baha'i faith. The word "Baha'i" simply means "a follower of Baha'u'llah".

He said that there is only one God, although different people call Him by different names. He told us that all religions are one, since they all come from one God. The Baha'i faith teaches us that all mankind is one family & that all people are equal. It also encourages cultural diversity & discourages any type of prejudice.

There is no clergy in the Baha'i faith. Each individual is able to explore the revelation of God & to decide on the issues of life through prayer, reflection & consultation with others.

The Baha'i believes that:

* There is only one God - just known by different names
* All religions are one but progressive in nature
* Harmony of sciences & religion
* Equality between women & men
* Importance of spiritual & material education
* Extreme wealth & proverty should be eliminated

It might seem impossible to achieve it, but it can, as there's a covenant (promises) made by God between human. This day will come as the new world order has enveloped just like it stated as "the end of the world" in the Bible of Christianity & Muslim. "The end of the world" means that the past will be gone & the new beginning of human virtues & standards will be form; & before any changes can be seen, there will be some obstacles that will be face by the human beings where now you can see the deteoriation of the world condition.

I believes that to achieve something or success, we must sacrifice. Humans are always given choices by God to choose between DEVIL & ANGEL. & it is up to us at the end to make the choice.
